Customs Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a strategic Customs Specialist (m/f/d) in Balzers, Liechtenstein, at the earliest possible time. You are going to work closely with all departments at Oerlikon that need your advice on issues relating to customs.

Your responsibilities:

Supervise international customs laws / bilateral agreements
Support in strategic planning and further development of a global customs organization
Take care of the identification and escalation of strategic and procedural risks in the field of customs and foreign trade
Act as support and contact person for all Oerlikon locations with regard to customs and foreign trade
Maintain and update customs and foreign trade authorizations (COO, CTN)
Close cooperation with all customs agencies, chambers of commerce and foreign trade institutions

Your profile:

Successfully completed customs broker education and/or several years of professional experience in this field
Several years’ experience in the export sector (machine industry)
Very good knowledge of global customs and foreign trade law including tax law
In-depth experience in working with SAP (GTS) and MS Office as well as good e-dec knowledge
Good English and German language skills
Solution-oriented personality, independent way of working as well as pronounced service orientation and resilience
