We are looking for you to join our R&D Execution business unit based in Baden (AG). Due to the worldwide demand for clean electric power production, combustor technology is the key differentiator for competitive gas turbine engines.
Ensure focus on next-generation technology and features through a dedicated team, located in the vicinity of test rigs and validation engines • Develop burner prototype hardware for next and second-next gas turbine combustion systems • Supervise and execute all lab-scale testing methods from feature to single burner atmospheric combustion tests • Supervise and execute fuel flexibility developments • Perform competitor analyses and IPR protections • Prepare combustor development and validation documentation, including analysis, feature, part, component test results as well as test and field engine results • Design rules, work instructions, test and validation procedures • Validate burner and combustor technology
University degree in engineering or equivalent • Industrial experience in engineering and/or component development, alternatively advanced university degree • Solid understanding in the scientific disciplines of combustor development, with specialist know-how • Reliable, open-minded and solution-oriented team player with strong communication skills • Ability to act on your own initiative
